Devan Kumar Kuda is a seasoned development professional with over a decade of experience in public policy, rural development, and research. He joined the Centre for Good Governance (CGG), Hyderabad, in 2024 as a Senior Knowledge Manager. Mr. Kuda has a strong background in monitoring and evaluation systems, policy advocacy and capacity building. He holds a PhD in Public Policy from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai.
Throughout his career, Mr. Kuda has supported district administrations with implementation, monitoring, and planning. He has developed robust monitoring systems and change management for various non-profit organizations and led strategic initiatives to establish educational, healthcare, and skill development institutions. His leadership, management and research experience include: Initiatives to improve WASH facilities, urban nutrition, NGO capacity, SHGs and Federations, local governance, rural entrepreneurship, informal worker conditions, digital literacy, sustainable farming, tribal rights, and food security across multiple regions.
Mr. Kuda has also contributed to research, with several works published and others under review in national and international journals
